Founded by Dr. Louise Edwards, an educator, researcher, and Unity-certified VR developer with over 20 years of international experience across academia, environmental consulting, and education, DredwardsVR brings a rare combination of research expertise, technical innovation, and global perspective to every project. Louise’s academic background — PhD in Earth Science and degrees from the University of Cambridge — grounds her work in science and critical inquiry, while her career in Canada has spanned higher education, K–12 teaching, and consulting in both the public and private sectors.
Our clients range from universities and colleges designing micro-credentials, to nonprofits building community training programs, to corporate teams adopting immersive technologies for workforce development. Across all projects, we prioritize impact, inclusivity, and practical outcomes.
As part of our work, we also create our own suite of immersive experiences under the Blueshift Immersive brand. These projects focus on environmental education and science storytelling, designed for museums, aquariums, and science centres.
