Experimenting with the Insta360

On Saturday November 26, I finally made it back home and had a chance to look more into some of the footage I was able to collect with the Insta360 ONE X camera that I borrowed from my husband. I have to say, I’m pretty blown away with the quality, and it made me regret not using it more (I was expecting the light levels to be too low and chose to focus on using my action camera). It’s not always easy to share 360 video – not all apps can handle it – but thankfully Youtube can process the spherical projection data automatically. When you press play, don’t forget to scroll around the view to look WHEREVER YOU WANT. The best way to experience them, of course, is in a VR headset, though. If you have a Meta headset, the Youtube VR app works really well (just search for my Youtube channel, DredwardsVR, and you will be able to find these and others from the expedition.
